Meet MAT - Painted Russian Doll

My attempt at the Substance Meet Mat competition. I tried to hand paint as much of this doll as possible to look as if it was a real wooden toy that has been painted once upon a time. A long time back I attempted to hand paint in substance and found its pitfalls, so decided to give it another swing and pretty happy with my results.

All the grey background renders were done inside substance using iRay however I also threw it into marmoset so we can spin it right round, baby right round like a record, baby right round round round. nobody ever reads this far anyways....
