Honda Motorcycle

For shits n giggles I thought why not scan my motorcycle, how hard could it be, that other guy did it right?

Turns out it's quite hard. The plastic bits as expected rendered poorly (those never capture as they're too shiney), and a few sections needed geometry to be quickly rebuilt. It turned out alright I guess for what it is. That detail on the engine is the best bit! I wouldn't recommend making the body out of a scan in future, that's for sure. Scanning the engine however, that could give you some great results especially if you're a mud fiend. Ignore the geometry, I basically just decimated it to quickly get something workable.

Processed in Agisoft, took like 5.5 days, big thanks to Dave Riganelli! And the tidy took a couple evenings.

Spin me right round.
