Enduro Rider

Its winter time, the trails are shut and i'm bored so to satisfy my dreams of being the next top rider, without the skill or experience, i've created another motorcycle.

This was an experiment to play with many techniques I wanted to polish up or learn. Marvelous designer, Photogrammetry, get up to date with Zbrush and Designer, try out UDIMS in painter and generally try and quell my sorrow that I have to wait months to ride again.

I modelled the bike from scratch in zbrush and 3dsmax. The tyres were made using a height map in designer and then displaced and retopo'd. I scanned my boots, lid and head for the rider, processed those through agisoft and spaffed them out into zbrush for tidy and retopo. Made an outfit in marvelous and textured the whole lot up in painter.

I've also kept it within actual 'sensible' modelling limits. Textures are all 2k or under, the total tri count for the bike and person is like uhh 160k? Probably could optimise, probably too lazy to. I might do it someday and pop it up on a mesh viewer.

Definitely could optimise the hell out of this. Like those tyres are like 40k with extremely excessive loops, but maybe another time.

I tried to reduce the shine on the helmet I captured, whilst it kinda worked, it also made for a annoying tidy up.
